Some people are going to live forever. How do I know? I keep reading articles where widows and others refused to buy any type of insurance, including dirt cheap term life insurance, because the money was needed elsewhere. Here is a partial list of the reasons not to buy:
- Both our families are long lived and we'd be paying for nothing.
- I would only buy whole life insurance as I get some of my money back, but I can't afford it.
- I'm going to get it next week.
- I'd rather go on a vacation.
- I don't want to go for a medical.
- Insurance companies are crooks.
- I have $10,0000 at work, that's enough.
- I can't afford any type of insurance.
- I'm out of work.
- My spouse wants to buy it but I don't.
- We can rely on our family.
TERM LIFE INSURANCE AND THE TRUTH
I'm sure there are many other excuses to go around unprotected, but that gives you an idea of how some people think. If you are not independently wealthy, you need to protect your family with protection. An easy way to provide for your spouse and family after you are gone, is with cheap term life insurance.
Term Life Insurance Is Necessary
Have you ever known anyone to say that they received too much life insurance money? It seems very difficult for people to realize that life insurance creates wealth. If your parent or spouse leaves a good amount it can make a world of difference, perhaps to all family members. Debts are paid off, houses are purchased, children are better schooled. And why? Because someone was thoughtful enough to buy a decent amount of life insurance.
